Ya Tom, I have spoke often about enjoying the research because not every treasure search leads to the goodies. But often, researching a treasure can and will lead to another adventure..

That is every detectorist's dream. Most of us shoot ourselves in the foot with poor research.

Winter in cold States can be a good time to track down lost sites and treasure at librearies, and local historical societies. PS. If you liked the series, there is a new "Detectorists" movie out.

Thanks Mike, actually I will be speaking with Rick and getting his approval for me to write what the treasure was and where it was found. I need to protect his personal info.
