The Greatest Treasure

FREEDOM

Those of us living in America often take for granted the Freedoms that we have as a nation.

I have spent a lifetime racing after treasures hidden, cached, or lost, and yet at times, especially when I was younger, too blind to give thanks for the treasure of Freedom that America has bestowed upon me.

Always there, always within reach, and never hidden away, Freedom has been the treasure surrounding me in its richness.

Today, the 4^th of July, let us cherish the treasure of Freedom. And remember often, that her beauty, granted to us by God, and protected by the Constitution, is never to be taken for granted.

Freedom is the greatest of treasures.
